Welcome Baby

What a weekend it has been!  We welcomed our little niece into the world this past Friday and baby Aubrey Emma is a sweet little doll!  This card was made with her in mind.  I used the colors from this weeks color story over at the Play Date Cafe, which were:  Coral, Petal Pink, and Antique Gold.  What a beautiful group of colors!  I was so inspired by the dress in the photo, I used antique gold tulle in my card.  The stamp set I used is one of my go to favorites from SU called Buggies and Booties.  Another one of my new favorites is the Die-namics die called Dainty Doily from MFT stamps.  I also wanted to enter this card in this weeks Papercraft Star's Anything Goes challenge.  Have you seen all the entries this week!  I'm loving looking at all the entries and finding new avenues of inspiration!  Well I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  Thank you for stopping by.

One excited Autie,
Anitra

Blast Off!

Thursday and the weekend is in sight!  I made this card for my little boy, who has been amazing this week.  He is so kind to his little sister, encouraging her through her potty training.  He gives her a sticker every time she uses the potty.  How cute is that!  I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch 201.  The stamp set I used is from Bo Bunny, along with the coordinating paper called Blast Off.  I weaved the ribbon through the chipboard star and added chipboard numbers to the bottom.   I had some eyelet stars I had purchased from SU years ago and finally got to use them.  So cute!  That's all there is to this card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Life's Moments

Hello all.  I just wanted to post this card for the Play Date Cafe color challenge 91.  I had been seeing the previews of the new Crafty Secrets stamps and was itching to get some sets that caught my eye and sparked my imagination.  Sadly though they were only released for purchase to wholesale vendors.  Nevertheless I did purchase a stamp set that pulled at my heartstrings.  This silhouette image is just darling! I can just hear this little boy screaming with laughter.  I paired this image with a sentiment from a stamp set called Elements of Style by SU.  Isn't it these little moments that we treasure most?  Many thanks to you for  stopping by.

Blooming Good Day

Hello Bloggy friends.  I hope everyone has made thru Monday.  This week I've taken on the task of encouraging my little Ave to ditch the pampys.  (that's what she calls her pampers)  Yes it's potty training week:(.  I am so amazed at the differences between my kiddos.  My son wasn't ready until much later and my daughter is practically begging me to put her in big girl britches.  Enough about what's going on at the home front.  Let's talk paper and punches!  For this card, I was able to use my new die from MFT stamps called Dainty Doily border.  How sweet is this die!  I love it when paper is made to look like lace!  The stamped image is also from MFT stamps called Blooming Garden, part of the Pure Innocence line.  I just adore this little girl.  The patterned paper is from The Girl's Paperie, and the flower is by Jolee's Boutique.  I used the sketch from this weeks MFT stamp club challenge, and the colors used were inspired by the CR84FN color challenge.  Both are fun challenges,  and there is still time to enter.  Well I hope you all have a lovely week, and thanks for taking a look.

Bringing Sexy Back!

So this week's challenge over at the Papercraft Star blog was a photo inspiration with the theme of summer beaches.  Soon I will be in Tampa Fl. sporting my own swimsuit at some beach. As I thought of such horrors, I knew just the stamp set to use on this project!  The image and sentiment are from a stamp set called Beauty and the Beach from The Craft Lounge.  Instead of using a banner, as in the photo, I tried to create a garland of colorful tropical flowers.  I used colors from the photo as my inspiration and added some stickles to the centers of the flower just to give it a little sparkle.  I also used stickles on the jewelry of my awesomely hot beach babe, because let's face it who doesn't want to wear their best bling in a fabulous one piece swimsuit!  What a fun challenge over at the Papercraft Star!  I hope everyone has a good week and thank you for taking a peak.

Mojo Monday 200

Hello all.  I hope everyone has had a good weekend.  I was able to get some stamping in and created this card for the Mojo Monday 200 sketch challenge.  I used a plain jane stamp from Verve.  I just love this sentiment.  I used patterned paper from Webster's Pages, and a Sizzix's die to make the flower.  Instead of using ribbon for a bow I used some tulle to give it a softer look.  Half back pearls accent my sentiment as well as the center of my felt flower.  I think I'll hang on to this little cutie, it's been brightening my day!  Thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of You

Quick post this beautiful Saturday.  Over at the Papercraft Star blog this weeks challenge is a sketch challenge, and what a super cute sketch it is!  Already there have been some amazing entries along with the  always inspirational design team's creations.  For my card I used a Tattered Angles frame with a digi stamp from Stitchy Bear's Digital Stamps.  I just love the Victorian look of cameo's and created my card with that Victorian style in mind.  The flower is from Prima and the lace comes from my stash.  The patterned paper is from Webster's pages.  I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and has a chance to participate in this fun sketch challenge.  Thanks for stopping by.

Life Is Good

Oh my, two post in one day.  I must have the FEVER!  The FEVER to create...that or I still haven't learned to combine challenges.  I know I should but I can't help it.  I just get inspired by the design team members from each blog.  That being said for this card I used the colors from the Play Date Cafe Challenge 89, which were Mint, Buttercream, and Taupe.  I was ok with the mint and buttercream:  however the taupe threw me for a loop.  I'm not even sure I know what color Taupe is.  It's so close to craft or maybe brown, or tan?  Well I tried.  Here's my little card.  It really is little, it measures 4" x 4".  Hope you have a good evening.

Sugar and Spice

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice!  That's what little girl's are made of...unless you're talking about my little Ava who tends to have a mean streak!  Oh well she's our baby and she knows it.  For this card I used the colors red, pink and neutral from this week's challenge over at CR84FN.  I recently purchased some vintage trims and laces from an antique store in my area.  I was so thrilled to find such a vast amount of vintage goodness I wanted to use some of my new finds on this card.  I used patterned paper from SU called Bella Rose, which I stitched around the edges.  The sentiment is from Verve called, "To the Moon".  I then added my new vintage finds along with some pearl flourishes.  Well I hope everyone has a wonderful week, and thank you so much for stopping by.

Here all the yummy goodness I purchased over the weekend.  I have a blogoversary coming up and I would love to put some blog candy together to celebrate!

Life is a Circus

Sneaking in a Mojo Monday sketch before the new one starts!  What a busy summer this is turning out to be.  This cute image and sentiment sums up what my household is like.  Between summer camps and little road trips, it's definitely been a circus around here!  This is one of the newest stamp sets released from Taylored Expressions.  I ordered this stamp set called "Life is a Circus" along with the coordinating dies.  I just love how quickly I get anything I order from her.  When I saw this sketch I knew I wanted to use this stamps set, so I ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived on Friday!  The patterned papers are from a Bo Bunny paper pack called "Blast Off".  These bright colors worked so well with the stamped image, and a little piece of ric-rack finished off my card.  Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday evening.

Love Ducky

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone has had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!  I've been quite busy myself, but now things have calmed down and I'm back in the stamping groove.  What better way to get my stamping groove back than to participate in the Play Date Cafe Challenge!  I loved seeing all the inspiration from the Design Team, and I also loved reading that some found these colors indeed challenging!  For this card I used this darling little duck sticker from Crafty Secrets along with a coordinating sentiment.  The patterned papers are from scraps from my leftovers.  I don't mind the colors and think they worked well with that little Ducky!  I hope everyone has a good week and thank you for stopping by.
