Green Theme

Good morning sunny Wednesday!  Every Wednesday morning I have been singing this little song to my son since he was a little baby.  Only now I'm afraid he's SO over it, and would rather sleep!  I guess it's just part of growing up.  This Wednesday over at the Papercraft Star we have a new challenge.  Use the color green as the main color in your creations to have a chance to win some beautiful images from our sponsor The House Across The Bay.  For my card I used pattern papers from Graphic 45, Once Upon a Springtime.  I started out with a Very Vanilla cardstock as a base and matted some green patterned paper. I used blush cardstock and a Spellbinders die to cut out the frame and matted the Graphic 45 image to it.  The green flower is from Maya Road, and the leaves were cut using a Spellbinders foliage die.  The sentiment is from Crafty Secret's Clear Art Stamps.  And just because I could not help myself I added some pearls and a heart stick pin.  I sometimes find it hard to edit myself when creating a card, and have to remember not to add everything including the kitchen sink, but embellishments are my weakness.  I hope you will come join us in this week's challenge.  I'd love to see what you create.  Just link up your projects by Monday 6:00 am EST for your chance to win some digital downloads from our sponsor.  Our spotlight designer is Jan and you can see how she used some of the wonderful images from The House Across The Bay here!
