It's...TIME

Hello Wednesday.  Yes that's right I'm back here in the middle of the week to let you know our challenge this week's challenge over at the Papercraft Star is to use a clock or watch in your project.  For my card I busted out my new paper pad from Authentique called "Renew".  These are not usually the colors I am drawn to, but these papers are just so super pretty.  The base of this card is black cardsotck which I matted one of the patterned papers on it.  I then used Baja Breeze cardstock to mat one of the bolder patterned papers in this pack.  I then stamped an image from Stamper's Best which I colored using Copics and some Baja Breeze ink, onto some white cardstock.  The clock on this card is one of Prima's new embellishments.  A sweet little seam binding bow finishes off this card.  The inspiration doesn't stop here thought.  Our design team has some real beauties to show you.  Be sure to stop by each of the ladies blogs and see what they have created.  I love the way Allisa doesn't stop with designing a card front, she continues the design inside her cards too.  Thank you Allisa for the inspiration and reminder that the inside likes to look pretty too:=)

Stamp Challenge

Hello my blog land friends!  I hope you are having a wonderful week!   My mom is coming for a short visit and arrives later today!  We'll see if I can persuade her to join in on this week's challenge over at the Papercraft Star.  This week we challenge you to use a stamp on your project.  Easy as can be.  I think we can all do this right!?I  I have to admit it wasn't until I started on this card that I realized I've been using digital images so much I found it a bit difficult to use a stamp.  For my card I used paper from Prima's new Lyric line. I just layered different papers from the paper pack.  I stamped a lacy boarder in Memento's Rich Cocoa.  I then stamped the "Delightful" in Memento tuxedo black onto a journal tag and matted it on some certainly celery card stock.  The last image I stamped it the clock with bee which I punched out using a SU circle punch.  A bow and a little lace and my card is done.  For more inspiration be sure to check out the rest of our very talented design team.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the week!

Farm Fresh

Hello everyone.  Are you ready for a fun challenge over at the Papercraft Star?  This week we challenge you to be inspired by seed and or the garden.  We have a beautiful inspiration photo to use if you choose as well as further inspiration from your wonderful design team members.  For my project I created 3 pockets.  I made these a while back for a swap I was in over at Your Paper Pantry and thought they were perfect for this challenge.

Using patterned papers from different paper lines.  The words are from a patterned papers from Crate Paper, that I fussy cut and matted in coordinating card stock and popped up with dimensional foam tape.  The images are from a digital collage sheet purchased from an Etsy store called Iralamija.  Inside the the pockets are an assortment of tags I created.  I have a video on this project which I show each pocket in more detail.  I hope you have a chance to join us this week!

Hugs,
